PART 2A : Digital Exposure
2A.1: Tutorial Work

Final Outcome |
This is the outcome for the tutorial lesson we did for digital exposure.
2A.2: Self-Digital Exposure
In this digital exposure exercise, we had to use an image of ourselves as the subject, where I included objects of nature to be found in the artwork. I used blue to compliment the elements of nature that I connotate with blue.

PART 2B : Poster Creation
During Week 6, we had to take part in the HONOR competition as part of our assignment for DPI, and to create a poster / wallpaper design for the phone using the themes given. The theme I chose was 'Renewal of Life; Contemplate human beings' relationship with all things'.
Theme :
Design Concept : This concept is a reflection on humans’ relationship with the rest of the world, and the impact we have on / our place in the everlasting and continuous cycle of life; whereby we should reconnect with all of the worlds’ life and what it has to offer by retouching on sustainability practices and enforcing a deeper-rooted relationship with the world we live in; not the world that lives for us. This design will focus on the newfound relationship and correlation humans have with all other types of life / things in the world, by using digital collaging effects, typographical / visual elements and techniques.
Summary : Originating from my design concept for advocating connecting humans with all other living things (nature), my final design depicts famous landmarks and monotonous cityscapes, and is set in a city, where a lamppost on a concrete pavement shines brightly; shining an alternate reality where everything is green, free, and whole, and colourful flowers emerge from the alternate scape, which expand outside of the space where they are seen as real flowers and other life, to express immersing ourselves and connecting with nature in our world; submerging our ecosystem with theirs. A child runs freely to show the everlasting cycle of life, where hopefully we will get to be apart of this alternate and not so distant reality.

Reflection
During these past few weeks doing DPI, I have enjoyed creating the pieces over the weeks. Learning about digital exposure is something that I felt was cool, seeing images like that online which I can now actually do for myself, as well as trying my part in the HONOR Competition by making a composition I'm very happy with.
