Documentation
The documentation for this task was also based on the first assignment, where we could utilise our original moodboard for our character, as well as aesthetic design to create our work.
As this was the second task, we learned about compositional techniques such as the Golden Ratio, and the Rule of Thirds, to which I have applied to my composition simultaneously to create compellingness. I have also utilised defining the foreground, middleground, and background to create depth.

I have used masking and layering for the character card, as well as a glowing effect for the stars, and manipulating the text to arch and glow as well to create a magical look.

As for the composition, I have used the pen tool and live paint tool, as well as playing with the width of the paths to create a more compelling design, as taught in class, as well as playing with light and shadow to create ambience for the environment.

Self Reflection
This task was very enjoyable, and I loved creating an environment for my character and planning the design with all the details. I think that was my favourite part of the assignment, as well as adding colour and character to the environment, with all the different elements to it, and it was really enjoyable seeing it all come together.
Something I believe I can improve on based on this submission would be more emphasis on my character, as she is a very small part of this whole composition, and I could have integrated her more into the composition, however I positioned / scaled her as how I would imagine her to be in her environment. Another thing I could work on would be the detail of the background, where the trees could be more defined / something seen in the distance instead of just a solid colour to add more depth.
